This sterling silver pendant is set with a smooth pink Tourmaline cabochon stone. Tourmaline is one of two birthstones for people born in October, Opal being the other stone. This tourmaline is a lovely mid rose pink.

The pendant is made from two Sterling Silver ovals which have been soldered together, one on the vertical and one on the horizontal.  The Pendant has been hammered with the rounded end of a ball pein hammer to give texture and to reflect light.  The pendant is suspended on a hand made silver bail and is hung from fine oval belcher chain which is detachable from the pendant.

Dimensions:

Drop Length:  32mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting.

Width:  19mm at its widest point.

Width of wire used to make the pendant:  1.50mm.

Diameter of Tourmaline:  4.6mm.

Chains:

Choose from a 16" /40cm or 18" / 45cm length fine Sterling Silver Oval Belcher chain.

Recycled Silver:

As with all my designs the pendant has been made with 100% recycled sterling silver.

Hallmarking:

To comply with the UK Hallmarking Act 1973, all items made from Sterling Silver require a hallmark if they weigh 7.78g or over.  As this pendant weighs under this and is detachable from the chain, it has not been hallmarked.

Packaging:

The pendant comes in a recycled card box with an anti tarnish foam/velvet insert.  A small silver cleaning cloth is also included to help keep your pendant shining.

Caring for your jewellery:

Sterling Silver will tarnish over time so a small silver cloth will be included to help you get started in keeping your jewellery shining and in best condition.
